the corridor

This is one of my favorite projects, the longest and the most tiring. The corridor was light brown (Picture in the left) and according to my husband no one ever notice it and it doesn't matter. But now is our favorite place from the whole house.

It has grey wallpaper combined with several white wallpaper with cute gray drawings. The carpet also is gray but what have changed significantly the place is that we painted the ceiling in white. Now is so much lighter!! 

There were some obstacles during that renovation and this is why it was the longest. For a quick win I decided to put new wallpaper on the old one but the texture of the old ones seem too obvious. So step backward: I had to remove the wallpaper which was the right decision anyway but.. the wallpaper was horrible to remove. Really! No trick worked on it. Once I finally removed it we realized that this is good timing to paint the ceiling! Another time consuming activity but much better then removing slowly every cm of wallpaper. And then we were ready to go.. wallpapers, carpet and voilà!
